In the spirit of celebrating all things female, one organization committed to improving the lives of women and girls is the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana — our Gift + Giveback recipient! We are excited to share that during the entire month of February, a portion of all Something Splendid sales will be donated to Women’s Fund.
Established in 1996, Women's Fund is a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation. They are on a mission to mobilize people, ideas and investments so every woman and girl in our community has an equitable opportunity to reach her full potential – no matter her place, race or identity. They focus their funding to generate meaningful results over time, in the areas of caregiving support, domestic violence prevention and intervention, economic empowerment of women, and investing in girl-serving organizations focused on self-development. The organization leverages community leadership and funding capacity to be an influential organization creating transformative and sustainable change for women and girls.
